Kris Hernandez began his passion and love for music at the early age of 11 and was influenced by the unique blend of new wave, alternative, funk, breaks, jazz, and disco eras. At his early age he was exposed to a lot of musical instruments and, even played and was part of an alternative band. It didn’t take him long to adapt to the world of Djing, drawing inspiration mainly from everyone that surround him including his family. Over the years, Kris Hernandez was introduced to new types of genre of electronic music and you can hear him spin house, techno, breaks, funk, electro & even some Bmore beats. Whether he's playing solo or sharing the day or night with fellow Dj’s, he always makes his presence felt by bringing new mixes and fresh tunes to the music scene.

My EG crew and I have been throwing a little jam every first Friday of the night called Free Mixer at Sutra Tiki Lounge. It's a night of downtempo, deep house, rare grooves and everything in between. We've been booking Toronto Local Dj's & good friends from the industry to join us for the night. So far things had been really good success like Sandra Oh walking in to our party, now that's something to brag about. So if you haven't had a chance to check us out or wondering who the hell are the Eclectic Groove or why are you getting all this emails from time to time then maybe just come out on one of our nights and enjoy the great crowd with no attitude.
